In 1993 the astronaut Alesandr A. Serebrov had a space mission, went to spacial station in the mission “Soyus TM-17” but he didn´t go alone, he went with his Gameboy.

He stayed 196 days in the space and orbited 3000 times in the earth, finally the Gamboy was donated by Aleksandr with a note that said “Like every astronaut, I love sports. Mi favorites sports are Football and swimming. While the mission, in moments of leisure, I loved to play the Gameboy”.

And so it was that the first video game to travel to space was a gameboy.
